Edit Agreement: New Design, Enhanced Experience

This November, we're thrilled to introduce a revamped design to the Edit Agreement feature. Here’s what’s new:

  • A New 'Changes' Log: Track every change made.

  • Approval Badges: Easily spot which items require client approval and which do not.

    💡 The Send button in the agreement editing process is updated based on whether or not your changes require client notification. It displays 'Save changes and notify client' if an email notification is triggered by your changes, and 'Save changes' if no notification is triggered.

Edit Agreement: Billing Newly Added Services Made Easy

Now, when you add a new service to an agreement, it's immediately available in the Billing Hub for billing. There's no need to wait for the amendment approval to include the new service in the billing process. Approval will be required at the invoice stage.

How it works:

  • Manual Billing: Newly added manually billed services are immediately available in the Billing Control. Choose either 'Bill Now' or 'Add to upcoming bill' for instant billing. Note that invoices will require client approval until the amendment is approved.

  • Automatic Billing: Services set for automatic billing will show up in both Billing Control and the Upcoming bill, marked with 'pending client approval'. After the bill is issued, the resulting invoice will need client approval unless the amendment is approved beforehand.

One-Time, Automatic Billing Services:

  • When you add a new one-time, automatic service, an invoice is generated as soon as you save your amendments. This invoice will be in a state of 'pending client approval' right away.

🚩 Amendments made before November 13th will not be affected, only amendments made on or after November 13th.

Edit Agreement: Edit Terms & Conditions

Based on your feedback, we've rolled out this much-requested feature. Now, you can easily update the terms and conditions in your agreements, right within Anchor. And here's the best part – these updates take effect immediately, no client approval is needed!

Whenever you make a change, we'll automatically send an email to your client with the revised terms attached as a PDF.

Proposals: Create Proposal Templates

We're thrilled to introduce the ability to create proposal templates in Anchor!

You can now create and reuse customized proposal templates, streamlining your workflow and ensuring consistent, professional client interactions. We've also relocated "Business Settings" to the Proposals section, now renamed as "Default Settings."

Proposals: Flexible Billing Dates and Periods

Understanding the importance of billing flexibility, Anchor now allows you to define unique billing dates for each service. This enhancement empowers you to set different dates and billing periods per service, offering unparalleled flexibility in managing your finances.
