This integration streamlines your workflow by connecting Anchor to Double, automating the creation of contacts, clients, and tasks based on proposal content once a proposal is accepted.

Connecting to Double

  1. Request your Client ID and Client Secret from the Double support team

  2. Insert your Anchor API key into Anchor under Settings > Integrations > Double.

How the integration works

Creating clients and contacts in Double

Once a proposal is approved in Anchor, a client will be created in Double if needed.

  • If the contact doesn't exist in Double (by email address):

    • Anchor will create both the client and the associated contact.

  • If the contact already exists:

    • If the company name in Anchor matches the client name in Double exactly, Anchor will use the existing client and contact in Double.

    • If the company name in Anchor doesn’t match the client name in Double, the contact, client, and tasks won’t be created automatically. You’ll receive an email notification prompting you to manually select the correct client in Double for task generation based on the agreement in Anchor.

Please note that currently, an invite will not be sent automatically to your client to join their Double portal.

Creating tasks in Double

Once a proposal is approved in Anchor, tasks will automatically be created in Double for the contact linked to the agreement, based on the mapping between Anchor services and Double task templates. You can set up this mapping between your Anchor services and Double task templates on the integration page.
