We are excited to introduce an integration with Financial Cents, a leading practice management solution. This integration allows you to streamline your workflow by connecting Anchor to Financial Cents, making it easier to manage client relationships, track services, and automate project creation upon proposal approval.

Below, we’ll guide you through how this integration works and what you can expect.

Key Features of the Financial Cents Integration

  1. Automatic Contact and Project Creation:

    • Upon proposal approval, Anchor will automatically:

      • Create a new contact in Financial Cents (if the contact doesn’t already exist).

      • Create projects based on the mapped templates.

  2. Team Member Assignment:

    • When creating a proposal in Anchor, you can override the default team member assignments. This option ensures the correct team members are associated with the work to be done. These overrides are available in proposals and proposal templates.

How the Integration Works

1. Creating Contacts in Financial Cents

Once a proposal is approved in Anchor, a contact will be created in Financial Cents if needed.

  • If the contact does not exist in Financial Cents (by email address):

    • Anchor will create both the contact and the associated client.

  • If the contact already exists:

    • If the company name in Anchor matches the client name in Financial Cents exactly, Anchor will use the existing client and contact in Financial Cents.

    • If the company name in Anchor doesn't match the client name in Financial Cents, the contact, client and projects won't be created, and you'll receive an email notification to manually complete the action.

2. Creating Projects in Financial Cents

Once a proposal is approved in Anchor, projects will automatically be created in Financial Cents for the contact linked to the agreement, based on the mapping between Anchor services and Financial Cents templates. You can set up this mapping between your Anchor services and Financial Cents templates on the integration page.

3. Overriding Assigned Team Members

While the template in Financial Cents automatically assigns team members, Anchor allows you to override these assignments when creating a proposal. This feature is available in proposals and proposal templates.

You can assign different team members to each role or leave a role unassigned if needed. If there are multiple templates associated with a service, all roles will display.
