🚧 We are in the process of developing an agreement approval flow, which will allow the client to specify who needs to approve payments before they go out, and everyone involved will receive a notification.

In the meantime, you have two options to deal with such a case;

  1. Set up net payment to make sure your client has enough time to approve the invoice with the relevant department. Here's how:

    1. Before sending the agreement, ask your client how much time they need to approve it.

    2. Whenever you create the agreement, set the 'Payment terms' according to the required time. Let’s say they need 10 days.

    3. When the invoice is generated, the client will receive an 'Invoice issued' email with the invoice so they can download or forward it to the appropriate department. They now have 10 days until the payment is processed, to approve the invoice with the relevant department.

2. Select 'Allow manual payment approval' under the "Payment settings" option. This will force the client to approve each payment.

🚩 Note that we do not recommend doing so, as this adds extra approvals on you and your client’s end.
