Whenever your client connects their bank account manually using account and routing numbers, you will see a status of 'Manual verification initiated' on the agreement. Your client will get a single deposit of $0.1 with a three-letter code attached to it within 1-2 business days.

💡 Please note, the process is only possible if it has not yet been done by the client.

If you already have Accountant Access to that client you can follow the guide below, and still update a payment method, remove it, or add another one. Read more about Accountant Access here.

In order to assist your client in completing the verification process:

  1. Ask your client for the three-letter code of the deposit or check their bank account if you have access to it.

  2. On the relevant agreement, you will see a 'Complete verification' button. Click it to complete the verification.

  3. When you click it, you will be asked to enter the 3-letter code associated with your client's deposit.
