Written by Yair Zirulnik

Already have a signed agreement with a client? With the Import agreement feature, you can upload your existing agreement as a PDF and Anchor will automatically extract the services, billing structure, and terms of service using AI β€” turning it into a ready-to-send proposal in seconds.

How to import an agreement

  1. Click the Create proposal button in the top right corner of your screen.

  2. Select Import agreement from the menu.

  3. Upload your agreement PDF by clicking Upload agreement or dragging the file into the upload area. The file must be a PDF up to 20MB.

  4. Anchor will analyze the document. You'll see it work through the following steps:

    • Reading the document structure

    • Identifying the client and signatories

    • Extracting the services and Terms of Service

  5. Once the analysis is complete, a Review your agreement page will open. Here you can confirm the extracted details, including the agreement name, primary contact, effective date, services, billing terms, and Terms of Service.

For each extracted service, Anchor will indicate whether it matched an existing service in your library or flagged it as new. You can use a suggested template match or keep the version extracted from the file.

  6. Once everything looks good, click Continue to draft in the top right corner.

  7. From the draft, you can make any additional edits just like a regular proposal. When you're ready, send it to your client.

Note: If the uploaded agreement is already signed, Anchor will flag this on the review screen. You'll be able to approve the proposal on behalf of your client once everything is set up.
