Setting an expiration date for a proposal ensures that your clients can only sign and access the proposal within a specified timeframe. Once the proposal expires, it will no longer be accessible for signing. This feature helps ensure timely decision-making while keeping your proposal pipeline organized.

How to Set an Expiration for a Proposal

  1. While creating a proposal, navigate to the Agreement Details section.

  2. Check the box labeled "Set an expiration for this proposal."

  3. Choose the expiration period - anywhere from 1 to 90 days after the proposal is sent.

What Happens When a Proposal Expires?

  • After the expiration date, the client will not be able to access or sign the proposal.

  • Expired proposals remain in the "Sent Proposals" page with a status of "Expired" for tracking purposes.
